Hi, I'm Lacy.
I’m a wife, a mother to four amazing kids, and a lifelong lover of travel. I grew up on the sugar-white sands of Florida’s Emerald Coast, and today, I have the absolute privilege of raising my own family here in paradise.
When we aren’t at the beach, you’ll usually find us chasing down our next great adventure. We are lucky enough to live just a drive away from the world’s best theme parks, and as my kids have grown, our love for big thrills has grown with them!
I know firsthand how fast the years fly by and how deeply important it is to carve out time for family connection. That’s why I do what I do. Whether your dream vacation looks like relaxing on a pristine beach or conquering the tallest roller coasters with your favorite people, I'm here to handle the details so you can focus on making core memories together.
How Departures Designed Came to Life
Long before it was a boutique agency, I was already the designated travel planner for my own family’s adventures. But my path to designing travel wasn't traditional—it was built on a unique foundation.
With a background in construction management, I look at an itinerary the way an architect looks at a blueprint. I know how to build a rock-solid foundation for a trip, structuring every day so that the logistics flow seamlessly. Pair that with my experience in insurance, and I bring an unmatched level of precision to the table. I catch the nuances, anticipate the unexpected, and protect the small details that make a vacation flawless.
